The Dugway Brook Watershed is located in Cuyahoga County on the East side of Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs.  The watershed is approximately 9 square miles in size.  The majority of the watershed is contained within the cities of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, and University Heights.  Small portions of the watershed are within the boundaries of Shaker Heights, South Euclid, and Bratenahl, where the Dugway Brook flows into Lake Erie.

Most of the Dugway Brook has been culverted, meaning that it flows underground through pipes.  This was done to make more room for urban development, including roads, houses, buildings, and parking lots.  Approximately 94% of the watershed has been developed.  However, Dugway Brook still exists as an open channel in Lake View Cemetery, Forest Hill Park in Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland, as well as in Bratenahl before flowing into Lake Erie.
